Greek people would pray on their feet with their hands raised up to the sky and them looking up as well when they praying to Zeus and/or the other gods/goddesses.
When Greeks are praying to the Gods of the Underworld they
would pray on their knees and hit their hands on the earth so that the could be heard.
When they prayed they would often asked for help and support from that particular deity they are praying too. They also made offerings as well such as wine, oil, milk, sweets and nuts and they also sacrificed fats and bones of animals like Rams, ewes, cows, Bulls and goats, but that all depended on which dirty they were praying too. So if they were praying to Dionysus the God of Wine they of course would offer wine to him.
